Meta has locked your WhatsApp Business Account, preventing all outgoing messages. This is a serious account-level issue that requires immediate attention. Locks are typically applied when Meta detects policy violations, incomplete verification, or suspicious activity.
Common causes
- •Incomplete business information (e.g. missing website or business description).
- •Policy violations such as sending spam, inappropriate content, or prohibited products.
- •Business verification issues or incomplete verification process.
- •Suspicious activity detected on your account.
- •Too many failed 2FA PIN attempts.
How to fix
- Complete all required business information in Meta Business Manager.
- Review and fix any policy violations flagged by Meta.
- Complete the business verification process if not done yet.
- Check your account status using the Health Status API.
- File an appeal via the Business Support Home in Meta Business Manager.
- Contact Meta support directly with your error details and business ID.
When this cannot be fixed
If your business has been permanently banned for severe or repeated policy violations, the lock may not be reversible. You may need to create a new business account.
